About me
Fernando J. Cintron is a NIST researcher specializing in the simulation and hardware deployment of 5G NR and next-generation wireless systems. He actively leads the development of NIST’s Open RAN testbeds, driving empirical validation of disaggregated architectures, closed-loop network automation, and Mission Critical Communications (MCC). He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Michigan State University.
